We had this old dresser for many years and it eventually started falling apart. I didn’t want to throw it away so I figured I would revive it with a fresh coat of white paint, some gold nail heads and new drawer knobs. These are the 5 items I used to paint and revive the dresser: BEHR Ultra White Paint, Rust-Oleum White Primer, a Rolling Paint Brush, Gold & White Cabinet Knobs, and Gold Nail Heads.

I placed the dresser on a plastic drop cloth to protect the carpet.

Then I used white Rust-Oleum primer to prime the dresser.

After several coats of primer, I used BEHR Ultra Pure White interior paint using a rolling paint brush. (I always use interior paint so that I don’t have to move the furniture outside when painting.)

I used white and gold cabinet knobs for a minimalist look, and I added some gold upholstery nailheads to finish the look.
