About

Hello there and thank you for stopping by! My name is Chisala. I’m the creator, blogger and photographer behind Forever Tweed.

I live in Georgia with my family and our darling Siberian Husky named Snow. I previously lived in the New England area, in the breathtaking city of Boston, where I worked as a creative and editorial strategist for many years.

Forever Tweed is a curation of all the things I’m passionate about: Beauty, Food, Fashion, Decor, Lifestyle & Personal Development.

If you want to contact me, you can connect with me on Instagram or simply email me: OfficialChisala@gmail.com.

Forever Tweed has been a passion project in my heart for many years. After years of working in the creative and editorial industry including being a publisher of a niche lifestyle magazine for Boston moms, I took time off work to focus on myself and the kids for a while. After we moved to Georgia last year, life slowed down a little and I felt it was now time to focus on my passions and dreams including re-launching my beloved blog, Forever Tweed.

My middle name is Ellen and my favorite colors are deep red, yellow, blue and a hint of pink.

My go-to food is breakfast food: 2 poached eggs with any side, or cereal with cranberries anytime, even for dinner.

I prefer classics to name brands. And I’m seriously in love with classic VW Beetles.

I love a good love story and I’m embarrassingly romantic at heart.

I dream of writing fairy-tale romance novels like that of classic romantic movies such as An Affair To Remember.

I buy more books and blazers than I do shoes and clothes. In fact, when I was 19, I moved from one continent to another with a big suitcase full of books I barely read, and only a handful of clothes and a couple pairs of shoes.

I love Boston and everything it encompasses: Colonial Homes With Shutters and Dormers (like this one), Red Sox Baseball, Celtics Basketball, Summer Hot Dogs at the Commons, the Red Line, Newbury Street, and the amazing customer service that Boston offers.

I will forever associate snow with my kids’ fondest memories on Christmas mornings in New England (Boston.)

Some of my happiest times as a mom are when my kids are all playing together happily, sharing politely, and being nice and kind to each other. (Any day I don’t have to preside over a ‘she started it first – he started it first‘ scenario is a win in my books.)

My bucket list includes a summer European road trip that begins in the Scottish Highlands, passes through the UK and other European countries, and then finally ends in Tuscany, Italy. You can read more about it here:
